Sales Manager for Storytelling Platform CUE

In Germany, some of Stibo DX’s customers include well-known media brands such as Axel Springer, Welt, Focus Online, and n-tv. The New York Times, The Economist, and many other leading media groups worldwide have been Stibo DX customers for years or even decades. Stibo DX is up for continued growth of its global customer base and user group.

Your perspective

We are looking to add a sales manager to our sales and customer success management team in the Hamburg office. In this role, you will have the overall responsibility for growing our customer base in selected regions in the world. 

Your responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the full sales cycle from initial contact until signing an agreement 
  • Identify and build new opportunities with leading media groups and brands 
  • Actively approach potential new prospects in different regions globally 
  • Respond to frequently incoming inbound requests 
  • Apply sales methodologies for a structured go-to-market, based on market segments and account-based marketing 
  • Accurate forecasting, meeting sales targets 
  • Be the main contact for prospects 
  • Represent Stibo DX at on-site and online conferences and exhibitions, in webinars and at other events 
  • Report to the Sales Director/Managing Director, and work closely with our global teams in marketing, customer success, delivery, legal&commercial et al. 
  • You may expect 60 or more travel days per year. 

Your qualifications and experience

  • Experience in enterprise and/or mid-market SaaS/software sales 
  • Experience in selling to large media groups a big plus 
  • Based in Germany, Hamburg area 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • A strong plus would be fluency in one or more other languages, like French and/or Spanish
