The strategic initiative is titled “Summerbird”. This extraordinary investment aims to accelerate the CUE media enterprise platform’s evolution, enhancing its capabilities to address the rapidly transforming needs of media organisations worldwide and deliver standardised services and premium support.
The extraordinary investment is a substantial commitment aimed at accelerating the ongoing expansion of the platform’s capabilities, while further strengthening both the CUE Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and CUE Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings. This move underscores Stibo DX’s commitment to helping media enterprises thrive amid the challenges of declining revenues, shifting audience habits, and increasing operational complexity.

Supporting Media Evolution in a Complex Landscape
Media enterprises today are navigating significant pressures, including declining print and broadcast revenues, rising costs, fragmented workflows, and changing audience behaviours. The CUE media enterprise platform is purpose-built to address these challenges and to support three core strategies embraced by media firms globally:
- Consolidation, through centralising teams, technologies, and operations to drive efficiency and scale.
- Convergence, by coordinating unified content strategies across formats and platforms.
- Innovation, from leveraging advanced technologies, including AI, to automate processes and deliver superior audience engagement.
With its modular and integrated suite of tools, CUE enables scalable content management, workflow automation, multimodal production across formats, and central asset management. Its capabilities empower media organisations to meet the demands of innovative journalistic storytelling in multi-brand, multi-format, and multi-channel environments.

Investing in Growth and Innovation
The investment will be used to introduce a range of enhancements and extensions over the next 24 months, with significant advancements to be delivered in the first six months. Stibo DX will expand its global workforce already over 2025 by 22% to drive these improvements, supported by external advisers to ensure success. While already having embarked on a premium support program, over and beyond a focus on the platform itself, Stibo DX will also introduce a new set of operational standard services.

Notably, as part of its continuous growth trajectory, Stibo DX has achieved a 16% increase in annual recurring revenue since 2023 and a 33% growth in PaaS and SaaS revenue. The company’s latest offerings, including an AI-powered automation platform and an automated print solution, are already being adopted by leading media enterprises globally.
Importantly, while customer retention remains strong, with support and maintenance revenues holding steady, for the second consecutive year in a row, in financial year 2024, Stibo DX saw a growth in new contracts of +9% YoY, totalling contract value of DKK 107 million.
As a result, several new media brands were added to the user base of the CUE media enterprise platform across the world, while a new contract in Japan marked Stibo DX entry into this exciting market.

The company’s compliance to ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 standards underscores its commitment to security and environmental responsibility.
