Stibo DX is pleased to announce that Le Monde, one of world ’s most influential daily newspapers, has chosen Cue Print to support the next phase of its development strategy on print and media operations. The agreement was signed with Le Monde.

The decision follows an extensive evaluation process focused on securing a modern, flexible print platform that could support both immediate operational needs and longer-term changes in audience preferences.

Cue Print will be implemented alongside Cue Content Store, with the Cue Web Print Editor acting as a bridge between Le Monde’s existing, homebuilt CMS “Sirius” and its print production environment. The setup includes Cue Designer and Flatplanner capabilities, enabling the newsroom to retain familiar print workflows while gaining greater flexibility and resilience for future needs.

“Our goal was not simply to replace an existing system, but to create a foundation that gives us more freedom to evolve,”

Paul Laleu

CTO at Le Monde

“Our goal was not simply to replace an existing system, but to create a foundation that gives us more freedom to evolve,” said Paul Laleu, CTO at Le Monde. “Cue Print allows us to maintain our high-quality print production today, while better supporting the organizational and editorial shifts we are making toward a more digitalized operation.”

Throughout the process, Le Monde placed strong emphasis on quality of service, long-term partnership, and the ability to support internal teams efficiently over time. Cue Print was selected for its balance of proven print capabilities and a modern architecture that avoids locking the organization into rigid, high-overhead workflows.

“Cue Print is built for media organizations that value continuity and editorial excellence. Our long‑term partnership with Le Monde will ensure its high standards are supported—now and in the future.”

Our long‑term partnership with Le Monde will ensure its high standards are supported—now and in the future.”

The implementation reinforces Cue’s position as a platform trusted by leading media organizations seeking to modernize print workflows without compromising editorial standards, while preparing for a more integrated digital future.
