STIBO DX'S THREE RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Committed to reducing climate impact

Stibo DX is committed to working systematically to reduce its carbon emissions and environmental impact from its entire operation, leading by example in the media industry.

 

 

Stibo DX´s Emission Reduction Plan focuses on areas that can contribute to the greatest impact first. These include, but are not limited to, use of solar panels at Stibo DX’s headquarters in Denmark, sustainable procurement, green travel policy, and moving our customers from on-premise to software-as-a-service solutions.

 

 

Examples of how Stibo DX reduces energy consumption include implementation of energy-saving initiatives and reuse of surplus heat from its internal data center to heat office spaces.

 

 

Examples of sustainable procurement include Stibo DX facilities prioritizing sustainable procurement, including IT equipment with extended lifespans to minimize electronic waste.

Examples of our green travel policy include measuring and reporting on travel-related carbon footprints to ensure accountability. Stibo DX actively promotes remote work to reduce commuting-related emissions.

Stibo DX has its carbon reduction targets and transition plan approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative. These scientific targets provide a clearly defined pathway for reducing greenhouse emissions, in alignment with the Paris agreement to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

 

With targets set and a clear strategy defined to achieve those targets, Stibo DX is working towards becoming Net Zero by 2050.

At Stibo DX, we want to set industry leading standards in talent attraction through partnerships and graduate programs. Recruitment decisions are based on the qualifications, skills, experience, and personality of the candidate.

 

Stibo DX wants its workforce to reflect the diversity of the communities in which it operate. Equal employment opportunities are provided, ensuring that gender, age, race, religion, and political views do not affect the recruitment process.

 

We treat each other with respect, and support and respect internationally recognized human rights as formulated in the UN Human Rights Declaration and the internationally recognized labor rights as specified in the International Labor Organization (ILO) core conventions.

Stibo DX is taking steps to increase the number of women in leadership positions in its organization from 32% in FY2024-25 to a minimum of 40% by 2030. Working with colleagues around the world requires that we are aware of and respectful to all.

 

For this, Stibo DX conducts annual formal training of people leaders on diversity, equity and inclusion, constantly expanding our thinking.

Stibo DX will play an active role in society and support development in local communities

Stibo DX recognizes that social responsibility starts at home. In addition to supporting its communities at a corporate level, Stibo DX works to add value to those communities in a personal way. Efforts are a result of the internal community we have built.

 

Employees at Stibo DX receive two workdays a year to spend on volunteering through our Global Volunteer Program. Through the Global Volunteer Program, Stibo DX employees decide how best to contribute to their communities, and our teams come together to make a meaningful impact on their local communities. The Global Volunteer Program is supported by a global team of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Ambassadors who coordinate activities and share lessons learned.

 

For example, during 2025 Stibo DX participated in the Digital Cleanup Day, promoting efficient data storage practices and focusing on educating individuals about organizing and managing their digital data to save space, improve security, and reduce environmental impact.

Another example included Stibo DX providing support to Bangladesh, which experienced severe flooding in eight districts. Employees contributed by donating one day’s salary, which was matched by the company.

 

Stibo DX reiterates its commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goals: 8, 10, 12 and 13. For example goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, partnering with organizations such as ReDI School in Denmark and Year Up United in USA and support their missions to offer equal opportunities through mentoring and placements.

 

Every year a donation is given to the non-profit organization, Free Press Unlimited, based on the number of UX participants that have engaged in UX research within the last year. The first donation took place in 2023.
